Women Aid Vision (WAV) began in 2009 as Mvolo Women Development in Western Equatoria, later registered in 2013, and expanded across Greater Lakes, Mundri, and Juba. As an independent women’s rights organization, WAV strengthens women and youth through community-based empowerment, protection, and self-reliance initiatives. Working with UN agencies, NGOs, faith-based groups, and community organizations, WAV reaches remote areas of South Sudan. With over a decade of service, WAV focuses on peacebuilding, governance, WASH, protection, socioeconomic empowerment, and livelihoods, helping communities rebuild and overcome longstanding challenges.
