The program is predominantly community-based, focusing on community health, water, hygiene, and sanitation activities. It includes interventions aimed at saving lives and reducing illness through access to safe water, adequate sanitation, and improved hygiene. Activities include construction of boreholes and rehabilitation of damaged ones, building and renovating latrines, provision of WASH NFIs, and hygiene sensitization. WAV has supported sanitation and hygiene improvements in various schools across Central Equatoria State with donor support.
