This thematic area promotes sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth geared towards productive employment and decent work. It also enhances resiliency and livelihood security through increased household income, community-based disaster risk reduction, conflict mitigation, and diversified livelihoods. Over the years, WAV has carried out socio-economic empowerment of women, girls, and youth. We trained various groups in Lakes State, Western Equatoria, Central Equatoria, Unity State, and Maban County of Upper Nile on entrepreneurship and vocational skills. Most of our groups have established demo plots and started businesses.
